I just think that the mammoths you only can use for riding and not for repairing are a really big waste of money - especially since they're so annoying for the surroundings.

@Dw-redux: :)

@Carra: haha, no I agree on that. cheap monocle with wotlk economy.

@Tam: haha, nice description of them!

@Magma: a bargain? :) Maybe not. But it depends on what you're looking for in the game ofc.

@Fremskritt: you make me curious. I wonder what it looks like!

@G-rebel: but useless isn't necessarily the same as silly. I think it's hard to beat the sillyness in the appearance of the Haris Pilton npc.

@Fitz: well, history or not, don't we all like dragons?Larísahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05769822260333419777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7084921087677216126.post-83943759997328969712010-01-01T19:43:26.289+01:002010-01-01T19:43:26.289+01:00Elnia, I was being frivolous - I'm sure multi-...Elnia, I was being frivolous - I'm sure multi-character mounts can be terribly useful under certain circumstances. But when you see one spindly zomfie parading around Dalaran on a mammoth ... well ... it does rather put me in mind of a balding man driving a very shiny a porsche.Tamhttp://www.righteousorbs.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7084921087677216126.post-32055067054036787362009-12-31T22:16:08.139+01:002009-12-31T22:16:08.139+01:00@Tam. If you have ever multi boxed you will immediately grasp the benefits of having all your toons on one ride. There a saving in terms of mount costs. But most importantly Blizzard's "follow" command has bad bad bad path finding. Until you have experienced it it's difficult to know just how bad it is. Having a multi-passenger mount saves a great deal of hassle.

Now, perhaps most people don't buy them for this purpose. IDK. But I don't think they were put in the game as mid-life crisis items.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7084921087677216126.post-59955904631874487392009-12-31T20:22:10.426+01:002009-12-31T20:22:10.426+01:00Somehow I knew the Onyxia whelpling would be the c...Somehow I knew the Onyxia whelpling would be the choice in this entry. After that you need 12 titansteel bars, 2 arctic furs, and 40 handfuls of cobalt bolts. If you buy those bars itll cost another 1000 but if you have patience and use your or someone elses titansteel cooldown you could easily get a bike for 13.3ish K gold.
Just thought I'd throw that out there since I see alot of people claiming they are much more expensive than they actually are.Magmanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7084921087677216126.post-18063741076060350902009-12-31T13:25:17.830+01:002009-12-31T13:25:17.830+01:00People are so right about the mammoths - can't...People are so right about the mammoths - can't believe I didn't think about that.
